 I was fortunate to attend a 3 day conference in the lovely city of Cannes, southern France. We stayed in the Carlton Intercontinental Hotel, stunning place right on the beach

The Weather was great for this time of year (end 0f Feb 2002) with no rain and daily temps around 17 deg C.

Wow, what an expensive destination. Breakfast costs a cool Euro 28 and a beer Euro 8.
